Gambling Community Fund

 2019 Round 103 SUCCESS!

20200807 Beaudesert Tennis Club - Cheque

The Beaudesert & District Tennis Association was advised earlier this year that they were successful in obtaining $35,000.00 in the Round 103 of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant!

This is a very exciting achievement for our club helping to fund our long time plan of the the removal of our two far courts and construction of two new courts.

With the growth of our club members, fixture players, coaching, partnerships with local schools, court hire from community, and increase in social tennis including Beaudesert U3a, Scenic Rim social tennis this couldn’t be happening at a better time for the Tennis club.

Our plan for these courts include hard court surface to complement our 4 synthetic grass courts which will benefit our players tremendously as they have a variety of surfaces to help improve their game, a hitting wall which will benefit those who want to play solo, LED lights, and the Tennis Australia “Book a court” system that provides players, members and community an online portal to book, pay and a unique access code to make daytime & night court hire easy & quick.

We want to thank the Gambling Community Benefit fund,  Jon Krause MP for your support, our sponsors Scenic Rim Discount Drug Store QM Properties, Tennis Queensland, Scenic Rim council and of course our committee, members & community for all their help to get this project up and going.
